CELEBRITY MODELS HIT LONDON FASHION WEEK

London’s Congress Centre will this season play host to VIN + OMI during London Fashion Week where they will showcase their Spring Summer 2017 collection to their largest audience to date.
The dynamic design duo have cast a stellar group of celebrities to walk the runway this season, the most the label has ever included in a fashion show.

Known for mixing celebrity models in with their regular line up, VIN + OMI featured Ab Fab’s Jane Horrocks last season. This season they have really mixed it up with a diverse range of talent.

Double Olympic gold medal winner Nicola Adams MBE will be hitting the catwalk along with Radio’s Jo Whiley. Actress Julia Swahala (Saffron in the Ab Fab Series) walks alongside model Vogue Williams, who won the 2015 series of Bear Grylls, Mission Survive and TV Presenter, Grace Woodward, who recently presented 100 % hotter on Channel 5 and is well known in fashion circles. Rounding up this year’s celebrity line up are rising music star Nina Nesbitt and festival favourite Leah Weller, who has performed at Nobu Unplugged and V Festival.

Having dressed everyone from Debbie Harry to Michelle Obama, Pamela Anderson to Beyoncé, VIN + OMI are renowned in the industry for their fantastical, innovative and futuristic pieces. They recently achieved widespread acclaim for their outlandish outfits created for Bubble in Absolutely Fabulous, The Movie.

This September sees the designers move away from film costumes and focus on their ready-to-wear collection, which the designers have named The Dreaming. High-end retail garments will be showcased in this collection but will also include some of their renowned signature OTT outfits.

New to the UK, ColorProof provides the hair styling this season, with celebrity hair stylist Joel Goncalves on hand to make VIN + OMI’s beauty vision a reality. CND will follow on from last season by providing all nail art, featuring the nail art from competition winner Kristine Toce. One of the industries leading makeup artists, Luke Stephens, will also be on hand as Lead MUA.

This show also see’s new partnerships with artist suppliers Daler–Rowney and The Sanderson Hotel.
